I hate to admit it, but the Jets season is fading fast. It was a fast start, and they gave us hope, however, this team is not going to the Super Bowl. Right now there are several teams in the conference that are playing better than them. New England, Pittsburgh, San Diego, Baltimore all seem to understand the urgency of December football. The Jets suffered from a horrible hangover against Miami and it is that game that will cost them a playoff opportunity. The offense is regressing, to a point where Joe Klecko can tell you what play is going to be called. I don't understand what Coach Schotty, (Shoddy) is trying to do. He has a quarterback that needs to feel comfortable in passing situations, so he needs to start protecting this kid in the pocket or get the pocket to move using rollouts, and more play action. Let's face it the running game has not shown up the last two weeks and clearly the Jets need help from the RT position. TE's and Rb's need to start chipping rushers at the line to slow things down for the QB.
The Jets will not win in Pittsburgh today. But will need to beat Chicago and Buffalo to keep their chances alive. But I don't think that 10-6 gets them in and it will be a big disappointment for the organization, and fans.
Weeb's hope is wobbling!
